Mr. Kost has 12 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer addressing landslide and slope stabilization challenges for clients as diverse as state departments of transportation, local municipalities, public utilities, and private landowners. His work has included analysis and design of drilled shaft and micropile deep foundations, MSE walls, deep patches, and tieback walls. He has experience analyzing concrete dams, embankment dams, and levees using both deterministic and risk-based methods. Mr. Kost’s work with levees has also included rapid assessments of flood damage and design of emergency repairs. He has broad experience developing and managing geotechnical investigation plans and laboratory testing programs to address clients’ unique design requirements.
